Blog No:18---> India is always known for its rich culture and lots of festivals that take place every year. I almost try to celebrate each and every festival which makes my day. Wishing everyone on these days bring happiness and smile on everyone's face. Thank you God for all these days. Last night we MCA students organized Dandiya Raas in our college. We started our preparations 2 weeks before so that this event become a great success without any obstacle. We did lot of hard work because our last event was worse as no one expected such huge mistakes from our class and this time everything was perfect. People were very happy and satisfied and they enjoyed a lot. Most of them came and thanked us and congratulated for this successful event of Dandiya nights. All were in their traditi...

Image
Blog No: 17---> I still remember last year our seniors have given fresher’s party in rain lounge which is in Nerul, navi Mumbai. The party was quite good with DJ, food, contest of Mr and Miss fresher and surprisingly I was one of the finalists of that contest. I didn't win the final but my very good friend Abhishek Choubey won that :) “ jo tera hai woh mera hai kaminey ” but on certain things :P. I never ever thought that I would reach finals because the first round was introduction round, 2nd was boys had to wear saree and do ramp walk which I never ever thought in my life but it was a great fun and last round was product add. After the contest there was more than two hours of DJ and after that food was served. That was one of the best days as memories are still fresh in my mind. Thank you seniors. It always feels great to organize event and functions whenever I get chance in my college or at any other place. It’s a great opportunity to show some management skills bu...

68th Independence Day: Happy Or Sad!!!

Image
Blog No: 15 ---> How much proudly I am writing this post on the 68th independence day of our country. I want to congratulate each and every Indian around the Globe. I still remember my childhood days, at that time we used to wear colorful or white clothes and go for flag hosting. As soon I saw the flag waving automatically there used to goose bumps and even now the situation is same. Even when I listen to our National Anthem current flows in my body. As the Anthem is played we put our heads up towards the waving flag and salute with all pride in this world. This is how we respect our Motherland as we have take birth here which is very close to us like our Mother. We learn each and everything from our nation as we grow here and grow with her. We never speak against our Motherland and we can’t take even a shit from others who speak against our Motherland. But frankly speaking I don’t feel much proud as I was feeling in school days. From last 8 to 10 years everything has chan...

It Started With a Friend Request - Sudeep Nagarkar (Book Review)

Image
Blog No: 14---> I am done reading one of the India’s Bestseller and one of my favourite authors, Sudeep Nagarkar’s book “It started with friend request”. It is his 3rd book and previous books are also hit and I am reading it. He is very good at writing love stories and he tries to fulfil the high expectations of his readers like me. I always wait for his new book to get release as there are only few authors in India who write good love stories :-). I know I am late but I have just started writing ;). As the title says anyone would think that the communication medium would be Facebook but in this it is BBM. It is story of a girl named Aleesha and the boy Akash. Aleesha being from Kolkata came to Mumbai for further studies. Akash is working in a professional company. There are two sequences in the book one is Akash – Aleesha and other is Deep – Tamanna. It is a story about true love as we say if it is love you have to face lots of problems. There are lots of twists in this b...

Review: Pandavkada Waterfall - Kharghar Navi Mumbai

Image
Blog No: 13 Nature has a very great impact on every one’s life and we are lucky to have some places nearby us. Recently I visited Pandavkada Waterfall which is in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Almost everyone came from our class which was really not expected ;). This is the second place which I have visited in monsoon and my first attempt to Pandavkada and it was quite good and safe from Tungareshwar. To reach Pandavkada waterfall one has to catch train from Harbour line and get down at Kharghar station. Outside the station there is Kharghar depot, catch Bus No. 54 and get down at Pandavkada stop. Bus ticket cost only 9 Rs and within 15 minutes you will reach your destination. After getting down you can see around its full of greenery and waterfall is clearly visible. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to reach near the wonderful waterfall. There is no difficulty in going there as it has a proper way. There is no risk and even small children can easily go through it. While walking you ...

New McDonald's Branch: Seawoods, Navi Mumbai!!!

Image
Blog No: 12 As I was going to my college 5 days back, while passing I saw a board sign which said opening soon. When I saw it clearly it was McDonald's and I had a huge smile on my face. That day only I decided, will go on the first day itself. I have always loved McDonald's and for me it comes first compared to KFC, Dominos, Subway, etc. If you have 100 Rs you can easily full your tummy in McDonald's but at other places it will take all your pocket money. I and my friends had entered today on the first day itself. It is just besides my college and 10 minutes walk from Seawoods station, Navi Mumbai. I will post the address below. There is no McDonald's in Seawoods and hardly we have any branch in Navi Mumbai which is nearby station. Either we had to go Vashi or some other place, for that we have to miss our lectures and next day we are in trouble. This opening of McDonald's is very special to us as we don’t have any hangout place near our college and from...
