68th Independence Day: Happy Or Sad!!!

Blog No: 15 --->

How much proudly I am writing this post on the 68th independence day of our country. I want to congratulate each and every Indian around the Globe. I still remember my childhood days, at that time we used to wear colorful or white clothes and go for flag hosting. As soon I saw the flag waving automatically there used to goose bumps and even now the situation is same. Even when I listen to our National Anthem current flows in my body. As the Anthem is played we put our heads up towards the waving flag and salute with all pride in this world. This is how we respect our Motherland as we have take birth here which is very close to us like our Mother. We learn each and everything from our nation as we grow here and grow with her. We never speak against our Motherland and we can’t take even a shit from others who speak against our Motherland. But frankly speaking I don’t feel much proud as I was feeling in school days. From last 8 to 10 years everything has changed, but the coming generation will surely make a change in a better way and do well for the nation.

We being one of the fastest developing country in the world but we are still not developing. We have second highest population in the world but our literacy rate rank is 168 out of 234 countries. We are the second largest country to speak English but we Indians still judge each other while speaking English. India ranks 2nd where people use mobile phone at large number but more than half of the population misuse it. In Internet we are on 3rd position where we have highest number of Internet users but still we are far behind In IT Industry. Number of users is very high as half of them are just using it for social networking sites or watching mirch masala. We produce largest number of agricultural crops, milks, fruits, etc still there is scarcity of resources in our own country. We belong to one of the top country in corruption. We actually blame our ministers that they keep on looting us but the truth is that, it’s we who started this thing. We gave to one person he gave to another and now it is a virus which is not possible to remove totally but yes we can make it less. People coming from other countries must be saying, Yeh India hai yaha paisa fek tamasha dekh and we keep on entertaining them.

Well coming to crimes, India ranks 2nd in murder cases after Brazil and in coming years we will be on top. I recently heard on news channel that India rank 3rd in Rape crimes. We have the highest number of cases reported during last 2 years. Rape is new hobby in our country. If this goes on continuing students studying in school when they are asked about their hobby they will say rape. Some of you must be finding it funny but it’s really a matter of concern because when I was in school there was no news like rape and today we find it daily on each and every news channel. At that time I even don’t know what its meaning was and today school students are discussing on those topics. Another issue is Child marriage and Child labour. Ancient times it was fine with child marriage but today also parents marry their children at the age of 12-15. People in villages to get a baby boy can do anything. They keep on giving birth to baby girl till they don’t get baby boy as this gives rise to population. Illegal child labour is only on papers, in reality it’s totally different. People make their children to work at a very small age on some chai wala or some restaurant where he can clean tables and wash dishes. This all should be stopped and provide them with education and other extracurricular activities.

Jis din Tirange bechane ko
Sadak par koi bacha na mile,
Samaj lena hum “AZAD” hogaye.

I know I am being negative but this is the truth and we all are well aware of this and what is happening in recent years. There is lots of new problem coming everyday and still we are finding ways to overcome the old ones. We have the best engineers and doctors in the world but they don’t work for our country. We spit and shit on the road and we say we are proud to be an Indian. Actually we are only proud on 15th August and 26th January. We really need to think about this as we have everything but we are far behind in achieving that. I thank our freedom fighters who sacrifice their lives for our country but have some value for that life’s. 15th August, 1947 to 15th August, 2014 everything has changed and we are the ones who have made the changes and we only can make it better if we come together and think at national level, not at individual level. Being an Indian you should be proud that you are born on this land and do something which brings a change :-).

Thank you.
